My 12 year old brother wants to cosplay Eridan (He already has started it and it looks really good so far! <3 ) and I am in the process of making both Kankri and GodTier!Tavros. I'm 17. I'm taking my brother to a 2 day convention, 1 day out of costume so he gets a feel for the convention and the second for him to cosplay. Are there any things that both of us should look out for? Especially since he's a little kid?
Oh gosh.
Watch out for Solluxes and Feferis, first of all, but try to keep tabs on any Vriskas with black intentions or overly-friendly Cronuses.
Just keep him with you at all possible times. If its a big convention, kids can get lost pretty easily, as you probably already know.

Your Jade cosplay is phenomenal, I’ll give that to you! My only suggestions, which are more of opinions, is that you straighten the strands of hair near your shoulders and if possible, opt for smaller friendly reminders. But again, personal choice.
As for your Nepeta, I really like the color of gray you used! My suggestions here would be to possibly pull her hat down a bit more (to cover more of your forehead) and give your “bangs” more of an inward curl (so the ends point to each other, I suppose?). That way your bangs will look more like the fangs Nepeta’s hair makes.

I would definitely suggest keeping an eye out for Cronus (Cronuses? Croni?) and very friendly Araneas for sure.

I’m no laundry expert, but I think they have color-safe bleach nowadays? We have some Clorox 2 color bleach that I tend to use for stains and what-not.
If you cant get any of that, sometimes rigorous hand-washing can help. Er, by hand washing I mean dipping the shirt in water and scrubbing at the stain for most of your natural born life.
